Alpine Haus
The Alpine Haus, perched high on a ridge overlooking a "forever wild" cove of
Lake Namakagon and surrounded on three sides by a private yard, is one of the
four original structures from the Loeb Family estate.
Picture yourself in the remote reaches of a Canadian
wilderness, with all of the conveniences of the Garmisch Inn a few steps
away.
Enjoy spectacular sunset views from your dining area, as well
as from two of three cavernous bedrooms. Each bedroom is equipped with a full
bath. One bedroom features a mid-19th century double bed, another offers a
queen and a twin, and the master bedroom has a queen sized brass bed, with room
for a cot if needed.
The cabin is furnished with a comfortable combination of newer
pieces and unusual antiques, and each bedroom has its own seating area for
private reading and relaxation. A massive stone fireplace is the centerpiece of
the great room. Original knotty pine paneling graces the cabin throughout.
Enjoy the screened porch, with views of Lake Namakagon & the Garmisch
harbor.
A completely equipped kitchen allows you the flexibility
of being at home if you are not "dining out" at Garmisch Inn. A dock for your
boat, tennis court, & swimming beach are just a few steps away. No pets. No
smoking.
